Growing Hope High Wycombe
Growing Hope based at St James' Downley is part of a national charity that provides free therapy for children and young people with additional needs and their families.
Additional needs are wide ranging and could include a physical disability, a cognitive disability, a mental health problem or undiagnosed need that impacts participation in everyday activities.
Growing Hope aims to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.
We grow hope for children through the provision of free therapy services.
We grow hope for families through the provision of groups for parents, carers and siblings which give them the opportunity to connect with each other and share their experiences.
Growing Hope is motivated by the Christian faith and runs clinics in partnership with local churches. (Our services are open to everyone of any faith background).

When Dreams Change course for parents and carers
When Dreams Change is a four-week course to help parents and carers to process their journey with having a child with additional needs and to have space to think about themselves and the person that they have been created to be.
As part of exploring dreams changing we use the story of Joseph and the technicolour dream coat.
The course has been developed by Heather Graham who has worked with parents of additional needs and is an experienced counselor, and Naomi Graham, Founder and CEO of Growing Hope.
If you are interested in coming on a course please email Joe our volunteer parent liaison and she will give you more information about courses coming up.
Charity Oversight
Growing Hope High Wycombe is a registered charity: number 1195290. Growing Hope therapists are all members of a professional board and receive regular clinical supervision. We take the safety and wellbeing of all children really seriously – you can read our latest COVID-19 and safeguarding policies here. Each year we complete an annual report which gives details of the impact that we have had in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
