Family Communion
On the first Sunday of the month in term time we hold this wonderful service.
If you are looking for an engaging and enjoyable act of worship which really does bring in every generation, look no further!

Children's Ministry
Toys and books are always available for children's use. These are found in the corner cupboard in the church. Paper and colouring pens are found in the Rainbow Room cupboard.

If your child gets fidgety during worship and needs some space, please go first to the Rainbow Room next door and then, if your little one really needs time out, go to the Lady Chapel into which the service is 'piped through' on speakers.
A travel cot and changing mat is available for young children. The ladies' toilet includes a potty!

Admission to Communion
In 2009, St James' Church went through an official process which resulted in our being allowed to give Communion to children before they were confirmed. To read more about this, please click here. If you are visiting the area and your child(ren) would normally receive Communion, they are most welcome to do so at St James'!
